Since 1997, this Award has recognized design excellence throughout the City of Milwaukee. 

 

The Mayor’s Design Awards are presented in an ongoing effort to recognize design excellence throughout the City of Milwaukee. Recipients have added value to their neighborhoods by restoring, constructing or enhancing their properties in a way that respects the urban fabric and contributes to the character of their surroundings.

The Duet Resource Group Experience Center is the recipient of a 2021 Mayor's Design Award in the category Test of Time. This category recognizes projects that have added value to the City by restoring or reusing their properties in a way that preserves and enhances the character of their neighborhoods and reinforces the traditional neighborhood fabric. These projects will help to preserve the city's built environment and architectural legacy for future generations.
