Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Director to join our dynamic sales team for our Workplace, Healthcare, and Hospitality vertical markets. This role will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing strategic sales plans, and leading high-impact sales initiatives. The Regional Director drive sales results in assigned vertical markets (workplace, healthcare and hospitality) and represents the Duet and KI brands in the region.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience


Desired Experience

  • Five years of related work experience required (commercial furnishings, interior design, construction, commercial real estate)

  • Consultative, long cycle, business-to-business sales experience

  • Comfortable calling on new business and selling to multiple decision makers at the highest level


Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Highly motivated, disciplined and focused

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Able to help customers identify and solve complex problems

  • Proficient in negotiating terms and closing deals effectively

  • Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong business relationships

  • Capable of handling setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Able to set, pursue, and achieve sales goals consistently

  • A high level of personal integrity and business ethics

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients

  • Actively identifies and pursues new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, market research and phone/email outreach

  • Develops relationships with key sales partners such as architecture & design firms, commercial real estate companies, and general contractors

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create and deliver quotes, drawings, and proposals

  • Delivers presentations effectively and closes sales opportunities

  • Follows up to ensure projects are completed on time and to client expectations

  • Coordinates post-sales activities and provides necessary customer service support to help resolve problems

  • Works closely with Duet Leadership to develop territory strategy and action plans

  • Ensures appropriate time is spent selling in required core market(s) as per the region’s annual business plan

  • Maintains all sales related activity in Salesforce ensuring pipeline is accurate, complete, and current

  • Stays informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Travel Requirements*

  • Travel will be required throughout territory for in-person client meetings

  • Occasional travel may be required to other regions for industry events and trade shows

  • Travel to Milwaukee, WI for the Annual Duet Team Meeting once per year


*Business-related travel expenses are reimbursed (i.e. mileage per current IRS rate, meals, hotel, flight, parking).
